So normally Prosthetic Orthotic service is also a specialized and long-term process. Most of technology and materials to fabricate devices have to be imported from abroad. In other hand most of people who need Orthotic Prosthetic service are from remote area and poor socioeconomic condition. That’s why its felt that Prosthetic Orthotic service in Nepal is a quite expensive and not easily available service. The main cause of less development of Prosthetic Orthotic service in the country is socioeconomic condition even though need of large amount of service according to study of WHO in least developing countries.
